{"title":"M!N!M!M ACC","description":"\u003ch1 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKnights who say “niche!”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h1\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eIntroducing my new line of ultra-niche accessories I’m calling \u003cb\u003eM!N!M!M\u003c\/b\u003e.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThese \u003ci\u003every\u003c\/i\u003e specific controllers were born from two recent concurrent events:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col class=\"ol1\"\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"li3\"\u003eI got the new DOD™ Drag delay\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"li3\"\u003eI wanted to build a mini pedalboard\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eOnce I started down the path of #2, I realized that the stock controllers and channel switchers I had were way too big.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eI also realized that with the Drag in specific, the only thing I cared about controlling externally was tap tempo\/oscillation, and I didn’t want a giant controller for just that one feature.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eSo I built some mini controllers designed to fit either in front of pedals or in random small open spaces.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eI built these initially just for myself and my personal (elusive) Holy Grail: \u003cb\u003eThe One Trip Load In\u003c\/b\u003e, but I realized that others might find them handy too.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eWhat I came up with are the following:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003ePulse!\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThis is a single foot switch built specifically to access tap tempo on the DOD™ Drag™.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIt has both 1\/4” and 1\/8” jacks in parallel so you can either use the 1\/4” to 1\/8” adapter that comes with the Drag™, or commonly found 1\/8” to 1\/8” cables.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe laser-etched graphics on the Pulse! are inspired by the Chrysler building capstone.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe Pulse! will also work with the Rubberneck™ but it controls instant Rubbernecking™ instead of tap-tempo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eTr!ple\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThis is a 3-button foot switch designed to function exactly like much, much larger stock TRS controllers.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIt was meant to control either the Rubberneck™ or the Drag™, but it will also control other compatible passive TRS pedals.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe laser-etched graphics on the Tr!ple are inspired by Art Deco wallpaper patterns.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe Tr!ple has 1\/4” and 1\/8” TRS outputs in parallel so you can choose which size cable you want to use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eTr!ple L\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThis is the same as the Tr!ple described above except in one very important aspect.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe marked foot switch that controls the delay oscillation on the Rubberneck™ is \u003cb\u003eLatching.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/b\u003eThis has both positive and negative aspects.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eWhen this switch is engaged the Rubberneck™ goes into oscillation and \u003ci\u003estays\u003c\/i\u003e in oscillation until the switch is pressed again.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eWhen the oscillation controls on the Rubberneck™ are balanced properly you can conjure up live repeating loop-like oscillations without having to keep your foot on the switch.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eDue to the nature of a latching switch in this configuration, once it is engaged all the other switches on the Tr!ple are defeated.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eBut you can still control Rubbernecking™ and tap-tempo from the face of the Rubberneck™ itself.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eAnother negative is that this version of the Tr!ple will likely not work with anything other than the Rubberneck™.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eI told you this stuff is niche!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eTw!n\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThis is very simply a small version of a TRS channel or verb\/trem amp switcher.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eWhile I built this is specifically for my Vox™ amplifiers, it will work like other TRS switches.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eOther amps may have different requirements.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eOrange™ for instance, they require two outputs instead of TRS.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIf you would like an Orange™ compatible switch, contact me and I’ll build a custom version for the same price.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eFor Vox™ amps, the LED’s in the Tw!n are coded Red for Reverb, and Yellow for Tremolo.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eCole came up with the following mnemonic:\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eRedverb and Tremyello.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe laser-etched graphics on the Tw!n were inspired by deco frond\/leaf patterns, but admittedly it looks like zebra stripes, still cool, but zebra stripes.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe Tw!n has 1\/4” and 1\/8” TRS outputs in parallel so you can choose which size cable you want to use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThese are just the first in a series of various accessories.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eI’ve always enjoyed coming up with various helpful doodads (the Pick Shaker for example), so \u003cb\u003eM!N!M!M\u003c\/b\u003e isn’t about changing the world, it’s about changing your gig.\u003c\/p\u003e","products":[],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0095\/1985\/7723\/collections\/All_copy.jpg?v=1789581075","url":"https:\/\/www.spiralelectricfx.com\/collections\/m-n-m-m-acc.oembed","provider":"Spiral Electric FX","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
